Toy & Edu China connects industry players with Chinese market
More and more overseas brands are making an effort to tap into China’s market potential. To support companies to do business more effectively in this market, Toy & Edu China will invite leading industry experts to share insights on capturing the opportunities at the Toy Talks forum. Together with the Licensing Forum and a series of seminars, Toy & Edu China and the concurrent Baby & Stroller China will help participants to develop their business across the country.
Toy & Hobby China renamed Toy & Edu China to cater to the changing market demand
In response to the increasing number of newborns since the introduction of the two-child policy in 2016, as well as the growing demand for educational products in China, Southern China’s leading industry event Toy & Hobby China will be renamed to Guangzhou International Toy & Education Fair (Toy & Edu China). The fair, together with the concurrent show Baby & Stroller China, will be held from 8 – 10 April 2019, providing more opportunities for industry players to present and to source a wide range of products.
Final Report: 5% more visitors attended Toy & Hobby China and Baby & Stroller China

Expanding Toy & Hobby China and Baby & Stroller China open on 8 April to serve the promising Chinese market
As the largest toy production base and the second largest toy consumption country in the world, China plays a decisive role in the global market. Even though Europe and America remain the major toy consumption markets, a number of industry players have already placed more attention and effort in opening up the promising Chinese market. Toy & Hobby China and the concurrent Baby & Stroller China, to be held from 8 – 10 April at the Poly World Trade Center Expo in Guangzhou, serve as the most effective platform for worldwide players to tap into this market.
Toy & Hobby China offers a stepping stone to the country’s expanding licensing market
According to the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association (LIMA), the global licensing market is a mature and profitable one, with sales of USD 262.9 billion in 2016. Although the US and Canada are still the leaders with 57.9% market share, the Chinese licensing market has been growing significantly with retail sales of related products reaching USD 8.1 billion in 2016.
