Automechanika Shanghai marks a 15% upswing in visitors as 2018 show closes
The 14th edition of Automechanika Shanghai, which took place from 28 November to 1 December 2018, has recorded an unprecedented rise in attendees compared to the previous edition. Serving as a platform for both local and international players from the automotive parts, accessories, equipment and service sectors, final figures suggest visitors at the show rose by 15% since 2017 – now reaching a total of 150,568. As Asia’s largest automotive trade fair, organisers also received overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants alike during the four-day period.
Automechanika Shanghai 2018 sits in pole position for another record-breaking year
With the accelerator pressed firmly to the floor, Automechanika Shanghai is speeding ahead for another record-breaking year. From 28 November 2018, the 14th edition will be the largest edition ever seen, as the show hosts a gathering of exhibitors, buyers and visitors, all of whom are eager to explore the latest advancements across the entire automotive ecosystem. For the next four days, the fair will cover 350,000 sqm across the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai.

Automechanika Shanghai edges closer to its impressive lineup of fringe events in 2018
While more than 140,000 automotive buyers are preparing to descend upon the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in November for Automechanika Shanghai, organisers are working behind the scenes to ensure the high expectations of the show’s fringe programme are met. This year’s edition will see some 50 fringe events take place, covering a strong collection of topics and pressing issues related to the entire automotive world.

Two of Automechanika Shanghai’s industry association partners have laid out the details behind why China’s relationship the automotive service sector is starting to turn the heads of the world’s most successful car producing regions. The China Auto Maintenance Equipment Industry Association (CAMEIA) and the China Automotive Maintenance and Repair Trade Association (CAMRA) have a combined 1,700 members of organisations and companies across China, many of whom will be looking to shine under a global spotlight at November’s show.
