Leading overseas brands set to exhibit at June’s China International Nonwovens Expo
Returning for its third edition this 3 – 5 June in Shanghai is the China International Nonwovens Expo & Forum (CINE – supported by Techtextil), with around 100 exhibitors and 4,000 trade buyers expected to take part. This specialist trade fair and concurrent two-day forum programme for the nonwovens industry will showcase the latest products and technologies for nonwovens and nonwoven products, raw materials and chemicals for nonwovens, and machinery and ancillaries for nonwovens. The 7th China International Nonwovens Conference will also take place on 3 & 4 June.
China’s booming automotive market presents opportunities for nonwovens producers at China International Nonwovens Expo
China is the world’s undisputed front-runner in the global car market, leading the way in both production and sales. 2018 saw 27.8 million vehicles produced and domestic sales of 28.1 million, and while these numbers were down slightly year-on-year, the opportunities for global textile producers are still unrivalled given the overall size of the market. These opportunities can best be explored at this year’s biennial China International Nonwovens Expo & Forum (CINE – supported by Techtextil), which runs from 3 – 5 June in Shanghai.
China International Nonwovens Expo & Forum returns for third edition this June
China is the world's largest producer and exporter of nonwoven fabrics, as well as having the largest consumer market for products made from nonwovens, making the upcoming biennial China International Nonwovens Expo & Forum (CINE – supported by Techtextil) the place to be for industry players from 3 – 5 June. This year’s event will relocate to a different venue, the Shanghai Convention & Exhibition Center of International Sourcing, located conveniently between Hongqiao airport and downtown Shanghai.
Bullish nonwovens market in China emerges as key takeaway from June’s China International Nonwovens Expo & Forum
Following last month’s successful second edition of the biennial China International Nonwovens Expo & Forum (CINE – supported by Techtextil), one thing is clear: multiple nonwovens product sectors in China continue to exhibit strong growth and immense potential for the foreseeable future.
China’s 13th Five-year Plan spurs growth in nonwovens industry ahead of this week’s CINE
This week’s China International Nonwovens Expo & Forum (CINE, supported by Techtextil) is, like the technical textiles industry in China as a whole, continuing to benefit from the government’s 13th Five-year Plan which has boosted production capacity and demand for nonwoven products in the country. The plan’s focus on industry upgrading has led to an increase in capacity, with output estimated to reach 7 million tons in 2020, up from 5.35 million in 2016.
