Back-to-back visitor increases of 15% have solidified Intertextile Apparel’s status as a global apparel textile flagship. 94,661 visitors from over 110 countries & regions attended the fair (2018: 82,314, 104 countries & regions). Aisles in six exhibition halls saw a sea of visitors, as the quality, variety and innovation of the textile options on offer impressed trade buyers from all over the world. Reports of strong onsite order levels belied concerns of a slower economy and trade disputes – suggesting that, at Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics, there is always potential to be found.

Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Spring Edition opens next Tuesday at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre (Shanghai), running from 12 – 14 March. Around 3,300 exhibitors from 23 countries & regions will showcase their latest collections and services to trade visitors from around the world. New international exhibitors can be found throughout the country & region pavilions and zones, supporting Intertextile Apparel’s status as a global apparel textile flagship.

“In the coming era, technological innovations and human experiences will become inseparable.” The latest Intertextile Directions trend guide explains the season’s new theme, Hybrid. From 12 – 14 March, exhibitors at Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Spring Edition will display on-trend fabric samples at the Intertextile Directions Trend Forum, while more in-depth analysis of 2020 trends will be discussed in a series of seminars. This edition’s fringe programme will take place in three onsite venues, each dedicated to a different topic, covering trends, sustainability and business strategies, and will also feature three panel discussions.
