More variety, higher quality: leading exhibitors ready to open Yarn Expo Spring tomorrow
Yarn Expo Spring 2019 opens tomorrow, inviting 468 exhibitors from 12 countries & regions, including new exhibitors from Egypt and France, to capture the potential of the yarn and fibre market in China and abroad. The fair will be held from 12 – 14 March along with four concurrent events, including Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics, in hall 8.2 of the National Exhibition and Convention Centre (Shanghai). Before the show, Yarn Expo spoke to new exhibitor Cotton Council International (CCI), to see why they are choosing to exhibit at the fair this week.
75% more Fancy Yarn Zone exhibitors at Yarn Expo Spring 2019
Yarn Expo Spring 2019 will see a significant increase in exhibitors at the Fancy Yarn Zone, with 125 exhibitors now set to display their latest fancy yarn collections. Yarn Expo consistently offers new options at each edition, with a wide array of yarn and fibre products, from fancy yarn to high-quality wool yarn, cotton, chemical fibres and many more. Over 460 exhibitors from 11 countries and regions will join the fair, including China, France, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Pakistan, Singapore, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and newcomer country Egypt.

Yarn Expo Spring will take place from 12 – 14 March 2019 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. The fair, covering 26,000 sqm in hall 8.2, will take place alongside Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics and three more concurrent fairs. Between 2016 and 2018, Yarn Expo Spring saw increases of 29% and 20.9% in exhibitor and visitor numbers respectively, with nearly one visitor per sqm at last year’s edition (25,966 buyers from 88 countries & regions; 435 exhibitors from 10 countries & regions). With such positive growth recorded, it’s evident that Yarn Expo Spring is increasingly regarded as one of the most important events in the industry.
Final Report: Yarn Expo Spring’s status as Asia’s leading industry event attracts 15% more buyers
Yarn Expo continued its evolution into the industry’s most comprehensive and effective business platform with its Spring Edition which concluded last week with a large increase in the buyer figure, as well as another year of growth in the exhibitor number. Strong demand was evident for recent growth areas of the fair such as synthetic, fancy and specialty yarns as well as chemical fibres, while exhibitors in the more traditional cotton product group also fared well. In total, 435 exhibitors from 10 countries & regions took part (2017: 393, 12 countries & regions), attracting 25,966 trade buyers from 88 countries & regions (2017: 22,579, 94 countries & regions).
